"Prison is a BIG BUSINESS and crime does pay, it just doesn't pay the criminals.

The 1994 crime bill created the school to prison pipeline, funneling hundreds of thousands of inner city kids (super predators) into adult prisons. Children not old enough to drink, smoke, or even vote were old enough to go to adult prisons for longer than normal terms. This created a whole new MONSTER PRIVATE PRISONS. Private prisons have OCCUPANCY CLAUSES that require States to keep them at 9O% capacity or risk being sued. Making cash strapped States go out of their way to make their quotas i.e. criminals and convictions.

America has 5% of the world's population and 25% of the world's prisons.

There are 1.8 million people incarcerated in the United States Of America and another 4.6 million on probation or parole. With these facts the statistics don't add up. African Americans make up 13% of America's population but 40% of the prison population latinX make up 18% of America's population 30% of the prison population. There is something extremely wrong with these numbers or the policies that allow them to exist.

Slavery didn't end with the 13th Amendment, it evolved it and because it evolved the way that we fight has to evolve.

13th Amendment: Section 1 Neither slavery nor servitude, EXCEPT AS PUNISHMENT FOR CRIME WHEREOF THE PARTY SHALL HAVE BEEN DULY CONVICTED. When the 13th Amendment was enacted so were the vagrancy laws that targeted ex-slaves who were poor and had nowhere to live therefore they were punished by the laws for vagrancy and made criminals/slaves to the States that they lived in. Reminds me of Nazi

Everyone knows that they have rights but when confronted by police or any legal proceedings with what their rights are they do not readily know what they are. Our belief is that if you do not know your rights you do not have any rights. Hence the term "Ignorance of the law is no excuse"-Thomas Jefferson.
